I’ve always loved business and entrepreneurship. At the age of 13, I started a jewelry making business, creating jewelry for my parent's friends and co-workers. Later, I started my own lawn-mowing business and mowed the yards of friends and family. I’ve always loved the idea that I could make or create something of value for someone and in return, they paid me.
After finishing a finance degree at Texas A&M University in 2001, I began working for a CPA firm in Houston, TX. Soon after, I began working on my MBA and studying for the CPA exam. About five years into my career I jumped into manufacturing as a Controller, and learned the value of accounting for business and how I could leverage my knowledge of finance to help business owners succeed at a higher level by earning greater profits and working smarter, not harder.
After years of working for accounting firms and roles as Controller & CFO, I returned to my first love, entrepreneurship, and opened my own firm. My goal has been to bring my experience, knowledge and expertise to clients in a valuable way. I’ve teamed up with some of the greatest minds in the legal, financial planning and accounting fields to bring my clients advanced tax strategies and planning. My clients benefit from time-tested, advanced strategies that most preparers have never heard of.
